Description

The insulating shafts are supports (pins) generally made of steel, coated with insulating material (bakelite, vetronite or thermosetting material) on which the brush holders for the slip rings are fitted and positioned.

They are structural components inside the rotors, the shafts act as a support for fixing the brush holders during the assembly phase of the sliding contacts.

Our insulating posts are made with bakelized paper insulation or printed thermosetting material.

We are able to build any type of insulating shaft, providing us with the following data:

  • insulating diameter (D)
  • insulation length (L)
  • thread length (A)
  • thread (M)
